Kids Matter

At Fairview Community Church we believe that our children are not only our future, but our present. And what a present they are!   Truly, the children of Fairview are a gift!  We are committed to providing a safe and sacred space to enable our children to grow in mind body and spirit so they might become all that God calls them to be!   In teaching our children well, we realize that they teach us about God’s realm just as much as we teach them!

We celebrate all families!  God knows that families come in all shapes and sizes and whether your family comes from the traditional two-parent family, the single parent, the same gendered parents, or a blended family –you are welcome into our family!  We recognize that it takes a village to raise a child, and here at Fairview, we know that it is our collective responsibility to nurture, support, and love all of our children!

Sunday Mornings at Fairview Community Church

We provide nursery care for infants and toddlers, and Sunday School classes for pre-school through elementary school.  Nursery care is available at 9:30am through the church service and into the fellowship hour. (On days of special events, nursery care is extended).  Our nursery is staffed with professional nursery care workers all of whom have special training in early childhood care, are trained in first aid and infant and child CPR and have passed background checks.

Our Sunday School teachers are volunteers of the church who give of their time energy and love!  We currently have a rotation of teachers involved in our Sunday School program teaching from Seasons of The Spirit curriculum.
