He's been chaplain and then an administrator at Fairview Developmental Center here in Costa Mesa for generations. He possesses more doctorates and educational accomplishments than most college faculties combined! And he's the longest-time member of our congregation, going almost all the way back to the church's founding in 1949, as well as serving in the past in various positions on our church staff such as spiritual health ministry associate and adult ministry associate. This month, on April 21, Dr. Francis "Mac" McOlash turns a "mighty 90" and we want to honor his extraordinary life and this notable occurrence immediately following our morning worship service on Sunday, April 13. Come and share in this tribute to our most venerable congregant and his decades of selfless service to the developmentally disabled and to the wider church and local community. We'll also recognize his unequalled sagacity, his wryly understated humor, and his undimmed intellectual and, yes, even (for the most part) physical vigor (you don't really want to challenge him on the racquetball court!). Please sign up in the courtyard to help with the planning and preparation of the festivities for our own "Dr. Mac", who although not large physically is a titan in spirit!
