We hope you all have received your Stewardship letter by now. Sunday May 4th is the day we have decided to dedicate our worship time to exploring the meaning of Stewardship.
You also will have noticed that we have chosen a theme that refers to being greener, the modern term for being aware of ecology. Everywhere we go, we find marketing reminding us about “Green” products. This is good because it has made more of us aware of becoming good stewards of our planet.
We are using the term “Growing Ever Greener at FCC” to remind us of the constant growth that is also part of life. At FCC we have been known as a church that questions, that takes risks. We have grown from these questions and the risks and so at this time each of us can choose to look to the upcoming year and ask, “In what areas of growth do ‘I’ want to have a part, at Fairview Community Church?”
